Overview

This course will cover the design, architecture, and operation of EVs. It will specially focus on the concepts in the electric power drive. This is a first level course on electric vehicles.

The course aims to improve electric vehicle technology competency for working professionals in the automotive industry. Participants will learn about the safe handling of electric vehicles, various vehicle architectures, component functions, working principles, and selection.

  • Develop interlocking circuits for EVs with high voltage components for HV safety
  • Test the high voltage devices of an EV
  • Types of conventional vehicle thermal management systems and their components
