  • Bonus tolerance working with M, L, S modifiers – Datum modifiers - Composite tolerances

  • Other modifiers P, F, T, CF, U etc. – Further explanation on profile tolerances (Unilateral, Unequally disposed, between points) – Envelope requirements (ISO 8015)

  • Product Design application exercises on GD&T – Design of mating parts – Calculation for fixed and floating fasteners

  • Manufacturing process design, Fixture and Gage design for GD&T – Application Exercises

  • Tolerance stack up analysis – Simple exercises on stack up

  • Overview of Taguchi methods – System design, Parameter design and 0.5 Tolerance design

  • GD&T applicable to machine tools – Importance – Measurement methods
